West Castle Street, Bridgnorth, Shropshire WV16 4AD
Grade II listed building 1 February 1974
Early C19. Painted brick; 2 storeys; 5 casement windows; moulded wood doorcase with cornice hood; plain gable on left-hand side; old and new tiles. Returned side to East Castle street has sash and casement windows, the lower with glazing bars and a moulded wood pilaster doorcase with small cornice hood. Shakespeare Hotel forms a group with Nos 1 to 5 (consec) EAST CASTLE STREET
At the junction of Castle Street East and Castle Street West. The adjoining Castle Tea Rooms is built with curving walls to fit the site.
The White Lion Inn is an 18th Century coaching inn.
